Hosted at CrossFit Kvell: 7am-4:30pm, followed by optional dinner/drinks


This course will cover the principles taught in the 2 day ‘The Female Athlete – Level 1’ Course (TFA-L1), including some lifting and gym practical sessions.

It is the perfect way to learn the principles of TFA-L1 or to refresh your memory if you have already done the course before.

The full 2 day course – ‘The Female Athlete – Level 1’ – will be at the following locations in April/May 2023 and can be found at – Saskatoon, Montreal, Kelowna & Victoria.

Obviously the entire contents of TFA-L1 cannot be covered in half the timeframe, so this is a tentative timetable to give you an idea. Participants will be asked their preference for the Optional Topics upon enrolment and the majority rules.

7.00am to 7.30am – Introduction

7.30am to 8.45am – Concepts taught on TFA – L1 course including Assessment of Posture and Movement

8.45am to 9am – Break

9.00am to 9.45am –  Discussion about Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Intraabdominal Pressure and how the concepts taught apply to antenatal, postnatal, Stress Urinary Incontinence, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Diastasis Rectus Abdominis, Older Adults/Postmenopausal

9.45am to 10.30am – Lunges/Step Ups

10.30am to 11.30am – Generating Change and Test-Retest Principles and Optional Topic (time permitting)

11.30am to 12pm – Q and A

12pm to 1.00pm Lunch

1.00pm to 2.15pm – Optional Topic/s

2.15pm – 3.15pm – Lifting weights including Deadlifting

3.15pm – 3.30pm – Break

3.30pm – 4.30pm – Applying the principles, Q and AReflection and Final comments

From 5pm or so until whenever (different venue) – DrinksDinnerCatching Up etc
